<Haiti> 장애고아원 렌트비, 브니엘 학비 지급 / Rent for the Handicapped Orphanage , Tuition for Peniel Orphanage Paid

장애고아원 렌트와 브니엘 고아원 아이들 학비를 지불했습니다.

We have covered the rent for the Handicapped orphanage and the school tuition for the children at Peniel Orphanage.

여러분의 기도와 도움으로 현지에 계신 탁 선교사님을 통해 일단 장애고아원 1년치 렌트비로 1만3천불을 지불하기로 했습니다. 아이들이 당장 쫓겨날 위기에 직면해 있었는데, 우선 집주인이 1년치를 먼저 받기로 동의해서 아이들은 안전하게 머물수 있게 되었습니다. 장애 고아들은 늘 지내던 곳에서 잘 지내고 있습니다.

지난 8월에 삼송고아원 아이들 학비 $6,400불을 송금해서, 학교 등록을 마치고, 교복과 교과서등을 다 준비할 수 있도록 했습니다. 그리고 이번 주에 브니엘 고아원 아이들 50명을 위한 학비 $6,500을 보내서 학교 등록을 하고 교복과 학용품 등을 마련하게 되었습니다.

아직도 장애고아원 1년치 남은 렌트비가 더 필요하고, 빠비앙 고아원과 살렘 고아원 학교 지원 문제는 남아 있어 계속 기도하고 있습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 가장 긴급한 필요가 충족되어 하나님께 감사드리고, 정성을 모아주신 여러분들의 기도와 후원에 감사드립니다.

대학생들에게 보내는 랩탑도, 마지막으로 브니엘 고아원 출신 대학생 세 명을 위한 랩탑을 보낼 수 있게 되어서 모두 전달하게 되었습니다. 무사히 잘 도착해서 학생들 공부에 큰 도움이 되기를 기도합니다.

아이티의 현실은 여전히 어렵습니다. 갱단은 지난주 작은 마을을 공격해 교사를 살해하고 주택을 불태우는 등 더욱 폭력적으로 변했습니다. 케냐에서 온 유엔 평화유지군은 철수를 준비하고 있어 치안 상황이 더욱 취약해지고 있습니다. 살렘 고아원의 쟌 목사는 서서히 건강을 회복하고 있지만 일부 아이들은 여전히 건강이 좋지 않습니다. 우리는 계속해서 그들을 기도로 안아주고 있으며, 여러분도 그렇게 해주시길 부탁드립니다.

하나님의 은혜 안에서 여러분의 기도와 사랑으로 행하는 이 일들이 어둠 속의 아이들에게 희망의 빛이 되고, 아이들에 삶에 진정한 변화를 가져온다고 믿습니다. 진심으로 감사드립니다.

Thanks to your prayers and generosity, we were able to provide $13,000 to cover one year’s rent for the orphanage for children with disabilities. Recently, they faced the frightening possibility of being forced out of their home. But now, with the landlord agreeing to accept a full year’s rent, the children can remain safely in their home. What a relief to know they are secure and well cared for.

     In August, we sent $6,400 for tuition at Samsong Orphanage, allowing the children to register for school, purchase uniforms, and prepare textbooks. And just this week, we sent $6,500 for 50 children at Bniel Orphanage, enabling them to begin school fully equipped with uniforms and supplies. 

     There are still challenges ahead. We continue to pray for the remaining rent needs at the orphanage for disabled children, and for school support at Fabien and Salem Orphanages. Yet we thank God that the most urgent needs have been met, and we thank you for being part of this story of provision and hope.

    We also rejoice that we were able to send the final laptops to three university students who grew up at Bniel Orphanage. These laptops will help them pursue their studies and dreams, and we pray they will be tools of blessing in their hands.

     At the same time, the reality in Haiti remains difficult. Gangs have grown more violent—even attacking a small town last week, killing a schoolteacher and burning homes. The UN peacekeepers from Kenya are preparing to withdraw, making the security situation even more fragile. Pastor Jean at Salem Orphanage is slowly regaining his health, but some of the children are still unwell. We continue to hold them in prayer, and we ask you to do the same.

     Friends, none of this would be possible without you. In the midst of darkness, you have shone a light of hope for these children. Your prayers, love, and support are making a real difference in their lives. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.
